February 6, 2014 — Accomplished recording artist Aaron Pope of Bridgeton, N.J., has again lent his musical talents to The Off Broad Street Players, whose current production of Grease at the Levoy Theatre in Millville features Pope in the role of Teen Angel.

Pope, who performs under the name Aaron S., was also featured on OBSP’s Christmas album, From Our Family to Yours, which was released last November.

The founder and lead vocalist of the four-time Tiffany Gospel Award-winning gospel group, “In-A-Way,” with which he released two albums, Over and Over and Friend 18:24, Pope branched out on his own in 2013 and released his solo album Working on Me, a compilation of contemporary gospel songs.

“The purpose is to encourage people, uplift, edify and give glory to God,” Pope said. “My inspiration is God in my life and how he has brought me through many things. Also, my family and friends.”

In addition to his strong tenor tones, Pope has lent his acting talent to the regional community theater group, appearing in the OBSP productions of Damn Yankees (Smokey) and Cat on a Hot Tin Roof (Lacey).

“Aaron is an incredible addition to the OBSP membership,” commented Derek Davis, Director of Marketing for OBSP. “His energy and charisma enlivens the stage and translates well to the audiences. He is a dedicated member and great to work with!”

Pope plans to go on tour this summer after releasing his next untitled album. To find out more, contact him on Facebook ( or by email at All of his albums are available at
