Walter A. Webster, Founder & Artistic Director
Walter founded OBSP in 1998 to create a space for performers and theatre artists in Cumberland County to come together and bring high quality community theatre to the area. Walter has directed more than 180 productions in and around the South Jersey area. In addition to his directorial duties at within the company, Walter shares his music as the organist at West Park United Methodist Church and as the organist and Senior Choir Director at Trinity United Methodist Church. He is an alumnus of Westminster Choir College with a degree in Performance, and Rowan University where he studied music education. Walter is the proud vocal music and drama director of the award-winning Performing Arts Department at the Commercial Township School District in Port Norris, NJ. He has a passion to educate future and current performers and continue to bring his love of theatre to the South Jersey area.
